And good for you for recognising that there are excellent reasons for being a romance writer.
I’m afraid I don’t buy into the ‘tortured artist’ bit. If you hate writing and it makes you feel bad, go find something that makes you happy and do that instead. Life’s too short.

I C&P’d this Julie for myself, for those days that don’t go well and I ask myself “WHY” I am doing this.
My personal number 10? I love that I get to create a whole other world. Through my characters I get to live vicariously, doing all the things I might like to do but can’t. I really really love my alternate realities!
