   I’m afraid I don’t buy into the ‘tortured artist’ bit. If you hate writing and it makes you feel bad, go find something that makes you happy and do that instead. Life’s too short.

   It’s a great post. Be proud of it.

   I C&P’d this Julie for myself, for those days that don’t go well and I ask myself “WHY” I am doing this.

   My personal number 10? I love that I get to create a whole other world. Through my characters I get to live vicariously, doing all the things I might like to do but can’t. I really really love my alternate realities!

   Kate W, that is a big old plus as well. I have made such wonderful friends since starting to write. I feel really lucky.

   Thank you, Donna, for making me think that I could in any small way help on those down days. I know what they’re like, believe me. And yes…POWER is a big thing.
