  1. *swoon*

I came out of that film saying “Colin Who?”
It almost had me in tears, in fact I have this ridiculous urge to go and see it again just for the first proposal scene… oh and the last proposal scene. Could do without the Kiera headshots (a la Wuthering Heights) though.

  2. Could do without Kiera altogether, actually. And the moody bits. But I agree: “Colin who?”

And the Pemberley scene when he smiles…

  4. Oh yes… that smile *swoon*

And this is from someone who never fancied him before.

Anna – if you have to go! We can go when you come and stay if you want? I’ll sacrifice myself!

  5. I love this guy, but he does look awfully depressed. Actually, Colin Firth is pretty to look at but I never rated him much as an actor until I saw him play a Nazi in some television play with Kenneth Brannagh in which he was totally chilling.

Very pretty. Wouldn’t he be nice as Heathcliff?

  9. He would be nice as pretty much anything, I should think. Including lunch. Mmmmm…

Cat hope you are swooning over Eddie Stoppard for me.

  10. Keira looked hot in this movie. I think they went well together.

  11. This man is a true star. Not only a hugely talented actor, who was brilliant in spooks (I could not watch it after he left) but he has this certain something about him that makes him incredibly appealing, especially as Mr. Darcy. It isn’t only that his acting is so subtle, layered and sensitive, unfolding the Darcy passion by slow-burning degrees… there is something else. It’s a kind of sweet, innocent melancholy about the eyes and a hint of bewilderment in the sullen lips… and a warm, dark voice made for bedtime stories. Sometimes he looks so big and stern, and sometimes so boyish and scared… a very sexy contrast. :)

I wish they releease it again….so I can go and watch his first proposal and his Pemberly smile and him walking through thm moors in the last scene. I have watched it umpteem number of times on DVD but a big screen watch once again would be perfect! He is gorgeous.
