Yes, that particular issue has become much, much better, Imogen, thanks. I'll be able to handle writing a sex scene now, I'm sure--good thing because I've got to write one next.

Thanks Sharon, and welcome back!

Don't worry about struggling with the sex bits in the wip. A few months in and all those hormones kick in Big Style, although generally you're too tired to actually do much about it. I'd say that makes the perfect situation for a romantic novelist...

(Have been a fan of your blog for ages, and have raved about you on mine today so am outing myself so I don't feel so much like wierd cyber-stalker!)

I had a period of non-blogging a while ago and obviously missed something important. You're pregnant? Wow!

I'm not going to tell you any stories for either of my pregnancies, I'm just gonna say enjoy yours because it'll be totally unique, just like the little person who appears at the end of it.

Alien and hiccups. I'll look forward to that, Michelle and Karen.

I've had a very keen sense of smell since the beginning of my pregnancy. Usually, I must say, for disgusting things. I haven't noticed tins smelling, but I have noticed the smell of tissues, the road outside, someone smoking a cigarette three doors down, and absolutely anybody in the neighbourhood cooking an onion.

Don't forget the baby gymnastics at 3 in the morning *g* - prepare to be woken up!

Have you noticed any difference in your sense of smell, yet? I can remember a friend telling me that tins SMELLED. I thought she was teasing... until I was pregnant with Chris.

Enjoy it. If you're over the sick and tired bit, now's the 'blooming' bit when you feel fab.

Ah, yes, the first flutter of the growing chiid in your womb. Followed by months later the first hard kick in the ribs. LOL No, that movement is amazing, just a weird and exciting feeling! My kids (all 3 of 'em) seemed to get hiccups, and they'd hiccup for what felt like hours. Crazy stuff.

Don't freak out if the growing actually hurts sometimes. There were moments after a meal or just at random intervals when it felt like someone was taking both sides of my stomach and pulling HARD. Quite uncomfortable, but it went away. With the second child, I was already stretched out so I didn't have any growing pains.

Wait until you feel movement. It's just amazing, reassuring, and you feel like you're in the cast of Alien. :)
