June 13, 2006 | about me
Tired. I am really, really tired. Today I came home at 5.15, lay down on the couch watching Judge Judy until 6.30, and was so worn out by that I had to go take a nap.
I’ve been trying to think if I have anything else to say about Delicious. I think I’ve run out. It’s been great blogging about it, though. Sort of makes me feel like I know what I’m doing. Thank you to everyone who commented; I really enjoyed the dialogue.
I’m not sure I know what I’m doing with my current book, though the word meter over there tells me I only have about another chapter and a half left. I like the characters, the story, and the ending…but my attention span is about sixty seconds and I seem to need to sleep ten hours a day. Oh, and I cry at everything.
Of course that could all be down to the emotional roller coaster that is Judge Judy. Man, I love that show. Today it was about two McDonald’s workers getting in a brawl. Excellent.

I enjoyed your Delicious Blogs and I really hate to tell you this but the sleep thing…only gets worse the farther along you get. So take advantage of it because once your little precious comes, it will be until they leave for college before you sleep in again LOL.

I’ll make you feel better. Once I got past month 4, I felt SO energized, right up until about a week before the girls were born. Then I was just “Get her out NOW already!” and tired of being pregnant and waddling around like a bloated cow.
Come to think of it, that probably didn’t make you feel better. LOL Seriously though, I felt wonderful in my second trimesters.
Thanks for blogging about Delicious, too.

That’s called pregnancy, not Judge Judy!
I slept so much w/ the last two it was ridiculous. I swear, it’s nature’s way to let you store up sleep for “winter,” so you can make it through those restless nights during the first few months of your lovely new baby’s life.
I’m with Donna - tired first trimester, felt great the second, get it out by the third.
I enjoyed every blog about Delicious so much. Thank you again for sharing your story.

Julie , I’m surprised you’ve been able to get ANY writing done in the first trimester at all. With my pregnancy’s I always felt quite FUZZY in the head during the first trimester- and was unable to do anything much that required any brain cells.
Although I do remember feeling pretty normal in the second and early third trimesters.
A great thing to do when you’re pregnant (if you have time) is swim. I started doing it seriously when I was pregnant with my twins and by the end of the pregnancy I could barely walk next door without huffing and puffing like a really old woman - BUT I could swim a kilometre with ease. It saved my sanity I think!
And the blogs on delicious have been great. Thanks for your generosity.

Hang in there! I know Judge Judy is just so stimulating you can hardly stand it.
