Airports are madness at the best of times--I worked on checkin at a London airport during 9/11 so believe me, I know! Did they allow you any hand luggage on the flight (planes out of the UK allowing none but wallet, passport and essential medication)? Thoughts of 8 hours on a plane with NO BOOK filling me with horror. Congratulations on the news about the baby boy! Hey Julie, glad you eventually got home! In fact, my 19 year-old-daughter felt disposed yesterday to remind me that she is indeed 19 and perhaps the pet names could slow to a trickle soon! Glad you're home and safe!
