I had free credit at Audible.co.uk and thought I might as well find out what the fuss was about and listened to Skin Deep from the O'Hurley series. Hubby just rolled his eyes when I had my iPod on while cooking and then tidying up. I just couldn't 'put it down'! I had to hunt down the other books in the series and they were just as much of a delight. I am now going through her In Death series where she writes as J.D. Robb. And ever since...I'm a Nora head!!! Can't get enough. I highly recommend Sea Swept and whole the Chesapeake Quartet. You fall in love with every single brother as you read - but my favourite remains Cameron! In fact if you squidge your eyes as you read him you can pretend he's David Tennant. I have to go to the library later. I had my 12 week old grandson here the weekend and he was GORGEOUS! I feel too young to be a granny but never mind. I don't think I found the first few months of having a baby too exhausting, it was when they got to the 9 month stage an kept crawling about and waking up wanting to play at unearthly hours I really got shattered! My personal favourites are her Three Sisters Island Trilogy (Dance upon the Air, Heaven and Earth, and Face the Fire). I also recommend Carolina Moon and River's End, and I quite enjoyed Northern Lights. Though I would suggest avoiding Montana Sky - upset me terribly and I had nightmares!! Enjoy pottering.
