Oh my God.
My new hero is SO GREAT. He is just, just, incredible. He is so lovely and wonderful and all-around AWESOME.
I have been rocking back in my chair every six minutes laughing out loud and telling the ceiling how brilliant he is.
How on earth am I going to stop my heroine from being totally in love with him already???
I want to post another photo, but there are too many to choose from on this site. I particularly like the rather naughty-looking one with the sonic screwdriver, sixth down from the top.
Mr Tennant at the always-enjoyable provocateuse.com

Julie – you are so wicked! Thank you for ten minutes of lovely procrastination time, or is that research? I would mention Gerard Butler and Christian Bale. Wet. But you already have an awesome hero.
LOL, take care, Ray-Anne
He is lovely! What a fab website that is! I just have to know about your next hero Julie – but that means we have about a year to wait doesn’t it?!
The top one is my model for the husband of the main character in sekrit thriller. He’s not the main hero or anything, but, come to think of it, there are three sex scenes in the book and he’s in two of them.
But for god’s sake don’t link me to provocateuse while I’m working! It’s cruel.
Tilly, from reading your work I feel we share a taste in men. And provocateuse is totally research for our work.
Lynne, I may not be able to resist posting an extract from this book about my hero Hugh. He is so very lovely. But this book should be out sometime in 2007…
Ray-Anne…as I told Tilly, this is TOTALLY research. Not procrastination at all. Nope.
I think he looks like Jarvis Cocker in that photo! One of my fave things about DT as Dr Who is his brown pinstripe suit and Converses combo. V. nerdy chic.
Jess x
I also love Jarvis Cocker. Husband was doing a gig Jarvis was at the other night and I told him to tell Jarvis that his very pregnant romance-writing wife loved him. Unfortunately he didn’t get the chance. Damn.
Now there’s a good idea Julie! 2007 is ages away! This blogging stuff just gets better and better! Just to prove it is work, not just idle gloating, we could be discussing creating a character!
God, I love David Tennant. Am fully paid-up geek who is absolutely prepared to admit she can’t wait for the next Dr Who series…just so I can see David. Gorgeous boy. So much charisma. Have based a hero on him–editor loved the story, so I can only hope his charms will transfer onto the page, too. Since they’ve managed to get from him, through the TV whence, through my melty brain, they’ve hit my computer and therefore my poor editor…I shall hope they make it through to the reader, too. Having penetrated thus far, how could they fail?
Yes. I bet nobody will recognise him, though, Cat, even though they love him. You’ll have created something new. Nobody ever recognises my heroes…
Lynne, I probably will post something about my hero, though maybe in a bit…
I am crazy about my new hero, too. I’m going to have to do some serious rewrites at the beginning to give the heroine more reason NOT to be in love with him right away.
But ain’t it fun?? This is why I STARTED writing!
Exactly, Mary! Hooray!!
Your comments crack me up – I’ve bookmarked you – Found you by searching google for pics of David Tennant
– Yes he has got nice feet – and somewhat “I could eat you with a spoon” quality hands!!
I’ll have to suss out your books now they are aviable in Australia
Hey, Sal, welcome to my blog. David is looooooovely…so glad I came up on Google associated with him.
