Driving Him Wild cover

Found the cover for DRIVING HIM WILD on Amazon. I like it. The hero’s a ruggedly chivalrous Maine park ranger, and the heroine’s a tough New York taxi driver/aerobics instructor, and I think this looks like they’re having a kiss in Central Park. Which they don’t–they have an argument in Central Park instead–but if they did, it would look like this.

It’s out in February 2007. Regular readers of this blog will remember it as the book with the pigeon in it. Anybody who’s read FEATURED ATTRACTION will recognise the hero as Kitty Giroux’s little brother Nick, and anybody who’s read BEING A BAD GIRL will remember that Nick owned the motorcycle that Oz ended up buying.

Driving Him Wild

This is my Eric Bana hero…you can compare him with the Roman version on Michelle Styles’s cover for A Noble Captive, here.

And yes, the back of his head does look Eric Banaish, so you are okay there.

  3. This looks lovely Julie, and yes, I remember him as I’ve read all your Presents. I write in my diary when my fave authors have new books out, but I still have a look several times a week anyway! I like the cover, and I guess that’s how the couple end up anyway.

  7. Kitty makes an appearance over the phone, Jopee, and there’s more background about what their life was like growing up. But most of the book takes place in New York so I didn’t get the Maine couples from the previous books in that much.

Thanks Ray-Anne, Michelle, Lynne, Nell, and Jude…it makes me want to go snog an Eric-Bana-alike in a park immediately too! :-)

  8. I like the fact that you get men with long hair and girls who don’t look as if they’ve just come from the beauty parlour on ModEx covers.

And we could all do with an Eric Bana/Central Park moment!
