typical…

…The baby makes me wait 13 days, and then, three hours before I’m due to be induced, I start labour.

At least I think so. Between contractions, I don’t quite believe it. During contractions…man, I really do.

We’re off to hospital. Anna will most likely post a comment when she hears news.

  6. Michelle and Kate are dead right there – happened to me, too. I woke up in the middle of the night, decided I’d eaten something dodgy and tried to go back to sleep. It was only on the way to hospital that it dawned on me… (Definitely preggy brain!)

Thinking of you. (And don’t let your DH near the controls of your TENS machine :) )

  19. Wow!! I’ve not popped in for a while and Lo, a sproglet on the way! Congratualtions. And just so you know, my Sassyface did the same thing, labour began about three hours before I was due to go in to be induced.

I wanted to say, I was in Woolies when I saw your books on display! It was a thrill to point and say “I know her! I know who wrote that!” The staff member I grabbed was kind of rude and went to attend to the queue at the checkouts instead of sharing my thrill. Tcha, some bah humbugs, eh? *wink*

    All the best!!

  23. It must be the threat of eviction that spurs them into action. This past August, my daughter was scheduled for a repeat c-section at 39 weeks–she was in labor when she got to the hospital. They actually gave her something to slow it down.

Good luck, Julie! Can’t wait to hear (& see pics)!
