Our arms are aching to hold Nate. We miss him and you terribly. Everyone on this end of the water thinks he is adorable, which is,of course, true!
We have white stuff on the ground and had a freezing rain on New Years Day. Today the sun is shining and the sky's a brilliant blue, temp around 50F, and I love it!
Hope you're feeling better every day

Take care of yourself! So wonderful that your family was there to help. My mom came to help after the birth of my children and she was a blessing. I was always sad when she left.

Nate is so precious! I can't get over his pics.

Hi julie - have fun with the breastfeeding - your nipples get better after about the first week ;-) In France they prescribe stuff to boost your milk production, really sweet stuff that look like grey mouse droppings and taste much the same (I imagine ;-))
Rest is the most important thing. When I wasn't getting enough sleep I needed to drink six litres of water a day to produce enough milk. I ate like a horse, drank like a fish and rented a milking machine so that DH could do the night feeds with my milk
And now the boys are fine strapping lads of almost four and three. I breastfed them until they were five months old, because I wasn't into torturing myself once they started teething! (and I got pregnant again when Patrick was five months old! - something I would not necessarily recommend - very tiring!)
Hope you, Dave and Nate are continuing to enjoy life as a family unit
Hugs

I drank gallons and ate tons when feeding - the two things that really seemed to boost milk production were coconut and Guinness! (not in the same glass...)

I loved Delicious too - read it a couple of weeks ago. Got to love a romance that makes you laugh out loud. :)

Hi Sahndre...I'm really glad you liked Delicious. Jo's story was my October release, MARRIED IN A RUSH, which should still be available on Amazon, I guess.

Thanks Sue, as always, for the hugs! I hope you like Spirit Willing. And I'll remember your advice to take all help offered.

Thank you Lynne! :-)

Jaq, they've gone back to the US. It's pretty far away. :-(

Michelle I am enjoying every minute of snuggle time. He is a lovely snuggly baby.

Thank you Mary Beth and Queenie. I am eating loads despite my chagrin that my stomach still looks 4 months pregnant.

Nic, yes, you have all this to look forward to again. :-)

Eat what you feel like eating, Julie -- and as often as you're hungry. You will need all the nourishment you can get. And Nate will be happy that way, too.

So glad your parents were able to come and help out. I'm sure they thought it was more fun than helping. Grandkids are like that -- especially when you can hand them back to their parents when they're fussing! But Nate seems far too perfect to fuss. Enjoy! And happy new year to all of you!
