work crows

I go back to work tomorrow.

And I thought I had crows of doubt about writing.

I have an excellent childminder, quite a well-adjusted baby, and a job I’m good at and can step back into without overwhelming worry or effort.

Please, please, please let me sleep tonight.

  1. You’ll be fine – think of all the adult conversation you can indulge in :) . Good luck anyway!

  5. It’s hard to let go, Julie, but reclaiming your brain from the milk pump will be worth it. And the girls will be so thrilled to have you back.

    Have a wonderful day.

  8. ((Julie))). It is very hard to leave at first but I know you’ll be fine. I think working part-time is a great idea and Fecklet will be waiting for you when you get back.

  10. You’ll be fine. You’re an excellent teacher and will be welcomed back by your students with open arms, Nate will beam at you when you come home (and think of the nappies you haven’t had to change), and you get to have non-Mummy conversations. The glass is definitely half-full :o )

Hope you enjoyed your first day back.
