Honey Trap hero

Filed under: hero worship, Honey Trap

I’m about a third of the way through this book and I only just picked my model for my hero, Dominick Steele, who is a former alcoholic rock star:

Patrick Dempsey

His band’s name is Dirtysweet, which I came up with myself (after listening to T Rex), but he’s also got a former band called Stainless, which is thanks to Jess.

  2. Hello,
    nice hero…
am i the mooning type? ha! I’m shy remember.
i’m also a bad mother, was busy writing tonight, when daughter comes wandering through, having been left in her room for two hours, to ask if she could go bed! i hope you realise you’re to blame, if it wasn’t for you i wouldn’t have been writing!

  3. Wow he’s gorgeous!!!
Thanks loads Julie for your comment on my blog and for your encouragement. I thought you guys were such a great double act as romantic fiction tutors and I just received so much from everyone the whole weekend. What a great bunch and what a fab time we all had. Am itching to read your ‘Little Black Dress’ book Spirit Willing. What a unique plot you came up with for that book. Am having to be disciplined and study US Christian fiction books at the moment ready for the Dallas conference in 3 weeks, but can’t wait to read yours once I’m back.

  4. Very nice choice of hero, particularly in this pic he embodies exactly the character you’ve described.

  6. He is very beautiful. I watched Grey’s Anatomy for the first time tonight and I must say I am hooked.

Fran, remember: when you’re writing, you’re following your dreams, and following your dreams is being a good role model for your kids.

And I’m honoured that I inspired you to neglect your daughter!

*and doffs cap back at Jess…if I were wearing a cap, which I’m not because it’s 21.47 on a Wednesday night and I’m about to go to bed after writing a few more words on the wip…but imagine I’m wearing a cap, and that it’s doffed. There.*
