Off to USA tomorrow morning. With toddler. Have packed up everything and cleaned house for house-sitter but am dreading flight. If you don’t hear from me by Friday I’ve most likely been lynched by fellow passengers for being too noisy.

Have a great flight. Do you have your liquids in the little ziploc bag?

Oh I remember those days travelling with toddlers, mind you it did mean we had extra leg room. Have a great holiday.

I’m loving Honey Trap, as I knew I would.

I remember my days checking in families with toddlers–I always thought it was horribly unfair that the under-two’s don’t get a seat of their own, which has got to be damn uncomfortable for child and parent, especially on a long-haul flight! My only tip is to ask for a bulkhead seat (on 747s they have a sort of drop-down table arrangement for bassinets, or just extra clobber), or a seat with a spare next to it. If the flight isn’t full and the check-in agent is kind, you might get it. You won’t get an exit seat despite all its extra room, though: it’s illegal to put children in them.

Well Julie??? It’s the 14th and no post since your flight? Should we be worried?
I take it the cherrios helped.

  12. Julie says:

No reason to worry; it’s just that my parents have dial-up and it takes ages to access anything.
