August 16, 2008 | about me
Back at home, back at my own computer, back to my life.
We had a wonderful break, swimming, playing in the sand, going for walks, watching the wildlife, eating far, far too much. Oh, and I went to my high school reunion (she says, discreetly omitting how many years it celebrated), where my friend Eric grabbed my skirt on the dance floor, flipped it up, and showed my magic knickers to everyone we went to high school with. Thanks, Eric.
On Thursday night we flew home on the red-eye, and the Fecklet refused to sleep a wink, even though everyone else on the plane was sleeping, and I know that they all were definitely asleep because I walked up and down those frickin’ aisles so many times following a certain little person, and I heard their snores taunting me.
Anyway, now that I’ve neglected my blog for five weeks and lost all my readers, I’ll get back to posting regular updates. I’ve got some exciting news (especially for those of you who are writers) and lots of crows to discuss.
Plus, I need to spend some time talking about HONEY TRAP, because I was away when it was first released, and man, I need to tell anyone who will listen about that book.
See you tomorrow.

Thank goodness. I heard through the grapevine some author chick was hauled off to the pokey for stalking Cillian Murphy. I was just so sure it was you.
mary beth says:
YAY! You’re back!
mary beth says:
Oops, hit send too fast. Sounds like you had quite a nice break.
Julie says:
Ehle…………..um, no comment.
Julie says:
Thanks MB.
Hope you’re having a good break too.

Ah I was beginning to wonder…
Anna Louise Lucia says:
Welcome home, love! And my sympathies - I didn’t sleep a wink on my overnighter, either, and do not understand how anyone can….
Nell Dixon says:
Welcome home!
Ellen says:
Good to have you back. Glad you had a great time (except on the plane coming back).
cyclops8 says:
Welcome home. Can’t wait to hear some great stories.
Jessica Raymond says:
Good to have you back, Julie, and glad you had such a great time
I’m pleased to hear that the other passengers still managed to sleep even though Fecklet was awake, because I know if Little Frog was awake everybody else would be too!
Julie says:
Hi Michelle, Anna, Nell, Ellen, cyclops8…it’s good to be back.
Liz says:
Good to see you home safely, Julie. Clearly there are some good things about getting old — not having to fly with infants is one of them!
