love conquers all

Mills & Boon are very, very cool.

Background: On Valentine’s Day, Warrington station instituted a kissing ban on their platforms, claiming that kissing caused delay. Mills & Boon, as the world’s foremost publisher of romance, jumped to the rescue and staged a protest, putting up posters and starting Facebook and MySpace groups.

Well, they won, of course. True love always does. Kissing is now allowed on the station. And to celebrate, today M&B visited the station to give out books and sponsor a bit of kissing.

Apparently the “no kissing” signs are now on sale on eBay, with the money raised going to Comic Relief.

Nice one.
