Ugh. Well, I got back from Watchmen last night at about 11.30, got to bed at midnight (it really is a film you have to wind down from), and then at 2.30 Fecklet started screaming for a cuddle. I think he had a bad dream. Anyway, we were up and down with him until 4.30 this morning…I had to lie down on his floor next to his cot in the end to get him to go back to sleep. Up for the day at 7.
Today, I am dragging. Which means it’s nearly quarter to noon, and I’ve only got two and a half hours left to write, and I haven’t done a word yet.
Edit: Did 1450 words in the end, with the help of caffeine, vitamins, walks in the sunshine and chocolate ice cream.

I feel your pain! We had a very similar night – toddler thought there was a plague of rogue spiders in his bed trying to eat him! yay!
Fecklet informed us this morning he had been scared of the door.
Rogue spiders, however disturbing, do make more sense. (((hugs))) to you and the little guy.
Hey, doors can be scary. They’re so BIG.
I saw Watchmen last night but it was about a half hour shorter here – I have a few big holes I feel in the story
Hugs to the little one – doors are big!

‘Big holes you feel’ huh Liz? Is that your way of getting something smutty past censorship?
There must have been a full moon last night Julie, both my little ones were up as well. The baby to throw dummies at my head while I lay on his floor trying to comfort him (he’s a good shot) and the 5y.o. to relay how just about everything he’d learned in science that day scared him.
Hmmm… that last comment was by me, CarolC by the way. Can’t seem to work out how to log back in on my laptop after it was repaired although desktop is fine. Weird! But too tired to try and work it out.
