This is the week my book officially hits the shelves! It has, in reality, been on the shelves now since last week, as several people have told me about seeing it in the wild. But Wednesday is the official publication date.
So this is a week to celebrate.
I’m quite ridiculously excited about Girl from Mars being out there and being read. All of my books are my favourites, but Girl from Mars is one of my favourite favourites. I love my geek-girl heroine and her friends and I absolutely adored living in their world while I was writing and revising this book.
It’s different from any of my other books to date, in that it’s at least as much as, if not more, focused on the heroine and her friends as the romantic story. Fil, the heroine, and her friends Jim, Digger and Stevo are joined at the hip. They do everything together: play Dungeons and Dragons, beat everyone at the local pub quiz, shop for comics and Star Trek DVDs, hang out for hours at Jim and Fil’s house lost in their own isolated happy geek world. They are, Fil believes, perfectly happy in their own little orbit.
Until something happens that none of them expected.
I’m going to spend the next few days happily on Girl from Mars planet, introducing you to my heroine Fil and her friends. And I’ll have some giveaways, too. So keep checking back!
(You can read more about Girl from Mars here and you can order it, with free delivery, from The Book Depository here. Or you can help my Amazon rankings and order it here.)

Good luck with the signing Julie and can’t wait read the book.
The Girls from Mars being your own favourite favourite is more than enough recommendation for me. Hope it sells fabulously.
Wishing you tons of sales!!
Good luck, Julie!
