Thanksgiving

Last night, Fecklet and I had our Thanksgiving dinner (lots of stuffing, a bit of chicken—I am a stuffing addict and I’m hoping to bring him up the same). And I talked with him about being thankful, and after I’d given him some examples, I asked him what he was thankful for.

Here is his list:

Mummy
Peas
Daddy
Toys
Grandma and Grandpa
His lemur from Monkey World.

  1. Prioritisation is the key to success… snarf!
Fecklet is clearly destined for greatness.
    A most excellent list. :-)

  2. Two things for you to be thankful for:-
    1. Your are no.1 of his list.
    2. His list includes a green vegetable.

Really pleased your agent loves The Bad Twin. Having added insight into the storyline from the course I can’t see how she wouldn’t.

Can’t wait to read it and Nina Jones!

  3. I agree with carolc — you’re #1 and the list includes a green veg. I’m impressed. I’m guessing Daddy’s not too keen on being ranked after peas…

  4. Ah, bless. And perhaps if you hadn’t talked about it just after a meal, Daddy would have come above peas.

You, of course, would always be No 1.

  5. I didn’t even think about the green veg. Fecklet likes vegetables (for the moment) so I guess I take it for granted. But yes, that is something to be thankful for!

And yes, I’m pleased I was number one. :-)

Thanks Carol, I hope you enjoy both the books (eventually).
