Yesterday’s post just reminded me of how much I LOVE JOHN CUSACK.
So I am going to share this little bit of wonderfulness with you, which was sent to me by fellow writer Josh.
And a nice little pic of him in what is possibly one of the best movies ever made, Grosse Pointe Blank. No, no, no, a psychopath kills for no reason! I kill for money! It's a job! —That didn't sound right.

I love John Cusack, too.
And I fear I may have written several characters who could have uttered the above line…
Now that’s a claim to fame!
Aw, great YouTube vid.
Grosse Pointe Blank is one of the best films ever.
I think my favourite Cusack films are from the ’80s though. The Sure Thing and Say Anything.
*swoons a bit*
I feel responsible for you-tube related time wasting when we should all be busy writing. sorry
I’m pretty sure I don’t love JC but I do know my favourite film is ‘Identity’ – so perhaps I do love him *a bit*. J
I love JC too! I love that film with him in it with Catherine Zeta Jones too, can’t remember what its called, but it has some brilliant dialog…
American Sweethearts, Sally.
I love The Sure Thing too, Laura. I know everyone else loves Say Anything, but I like The Sure Thing better. I’m not sure why, perhaps I need to see them both again and analyse.
Josh, the YouTube was never a waste of time! In my line of work, we call it “inspiration”…
It’s the bit where they have to (innocently) share a bed in a motel, and in the morning she wakes up and he’s got his arms around her.
It’s so flipping adorable. He’s The Perfect Man.
(After my boyfriend, naturally)
I was just quoting The Sure Thing yesterday, the part where they’re debating what she’s going to call her kids and he says that Nick’s a good name, Nick’s a good guy, the kind of guy who doesn’t mind if you puke in his car.
