(Photo by Sharon Morton Dudley. I’m the one inelegantly sprawled behind the “88″ sign, talking with Danny McDonald.)
I went to high school with all these people! And I borrowed the shoes I’m wearing from my MOM. Orange and purple crocodile heels. Isn’t she cool?

Cool is not the word, Julie. It is now quite clear where your goddess genes come from.
And ‘inelegant’? Just how long are your legs, missus?!
Humpf.
Lots of love,
Rach. (5’2″, thighs like a New Forest pony. But hairier)

Very cool!
And Rach, you just made me snort with laughter. But it’s not the length of leg so much as the slenderness: Kate, 5’10″, thighs like an Amazon who hasn’t been to the damn gym in a decade.
Kate, I love you.
I have NEVER been to a gym.
Rach.

Ha! I bet she bought them FOR you and hid them in the closet waiting for you to find them.
Rach and Kate, seriously, it is all the shoes. They performed miracles.
Jan, no, they’re my Mom’s! She’s a hot chick.
When I say ‘decade’ I’m imagining an Amazon gone to seed. Honestly? I’ve never been to a gym either. I’m sort of statuesque, if said statue had eaten a few too many chips.
Julie, I’m in awe of you and your mother. Mostly because while my mother has awesome shoes, they’re too bloody small for me!
I love the shoes! And boy are you working them lol. I’ve seen that same pose in a jeans advertisement by the way so definitely not inelegant. Here’s to your modelling career!
Ha, Julie, like you needed to tell us which one was you… I saw the shoes and instantly I knew!
And take it from me, gyms are overrated….
Heidi (who still has thighs like a new forest pony, even though she tortures herself three times a week!!)
Hey, I’m in that picture! Sorry I missed you at the reunion. Not that we really knew each other in high school, but it would have been nice to tell you that I follow your blog and like your books.
Those shoes rock.
I love your shoes (or your mum’s shoes)! Even before I knew it was you, I was thinking that!
Sheesh, Julie! Hot legs, sugah!
And GREAT shoes. I mean, really. Fabulous.
We’re all stars on Julie Cohen’s blog… By the way, Jules, I found this when I googled myself for a conference assignment. It’s a scary world out there.
Uh oh, what else did you find, Sharon?
