off to 1810

This morning I’m off to Dorset for a couple of days. This afternoon, I’ll be learning how to dress and dance like a Regency gentlewoman. And this evening, I’ll be dressing up in a gorgeous crimson frock, long white gloves, ostrich feathers and crimson dancing slippers to attend a Regency ball celebrating the arrival of the waltz in England in 1810.

I can’t wait! I’ll be back with lots of photos, soon.
